CX Specialist (French & English Speaker)

Too Good To Go has an ambitious mission: inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. Over one third of all food produced worldwide is wasted – responsible for 10 % of global greenhouse-gas emissions.

Our marketplace app links businesses with surplus food to consumers who rescue it locally at one third of the retail price. As a certified B Corp we also create educational material, new business solutions and policy initiatives to cut food waste.

With 133 million users and 261,000 partners across 21 countries we have already saved 517 million meals and avoided 1.4 million t CO₂e. To strengthen our Canadian team we are looking for a bilingual Customer Experience Specialist (French & English).

Location: Remote within Canada or Toronto office; schedule Saturday–Wednesday (Thu/Fri off).

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for users and partners via email, chat, phone and social media
• Proactive communication in escalations
• Build and optimise processes that encourage sustainable behaviour
• Brand ambassador in every customer interaction
• Share customer insights with internal teams

Profile

• Experience in customer service or account management
• Fluent French and English (written & spoken)
• Excellent communicator with strong service mindset
• Confident using CRM tools (e.g. Zendesk, Salesforce)
• Team player with great attention to detail
• Marketplace, platform or food-industry experience is a plus

Salary: CAD 48,000–50,000 per year (CAD 4,000–4,167 gross/month).
