Your responsibilitiesAs a Data Leakage Prevention Specialist you will safeguard Siemens Energy’s sensitive data against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration or deletion. You will implement and operate DLP solutions, monitor data activities and ensure compliance with our data-protection policies – working closely with all relevant business units.
How you will shape the energy world- Roll out and manage DLP solutions on endpoints, servers and in cloud environments
- Real-time monitoring and analysis of data flows for early detection of unauthorized transfers
- Define and continuously optimize the global DLP process
- Develop and enforce data-protection policies in line with standards and regulations
- Create rule sets for printing, USB transfers, e-mails and web uploads
- Incident response: investigate data breaches, prepare reports and derive countermeasures
- Leverage DLP metadata for forensics and incident management
- Align with IT, Legal and Compliance to ensure business-oriented data-protection measures
- Coordinate external service providers when resolving data leaks
- Train and raise employee awareness on information security
What you bring- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in data protection and operating DLP solutions
- Sound knowledge of DLP technologies, preferably Microsoft Purview
- In-depth understanding of common data-protection standards and regulations
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH are a plus
- Fluent English (C1)
