You ensure inspections are performed to specification and review technical and formal documentation. Any discrepancies are clearly detailed and communicated, and you collaborate with a cross-functional team to implement corrective actions. As part of a global team you work closely with colleagues across regions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Prepare, execute and follow up dimensional inspections of raw and finished cast parts
Perform manual dimensional checks at supplier sites for gas and steam-turbine components
Drive supplier qualification and development projects to continuously improve supplier and part quality
Introduce preventive measures at suppliers to avoid quality issues
Cooperate closely with your team and internal partners to enhance quality
Internally review technical drawings for compliance and accuracy

What You Bring

Technical background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or metalworking plus QA and measurement experience
Several years of professional experience in dimensional inspection
Strong collaboration and communication skills, proactive mindset, flexibility and proficiency in MS Office and SAP; fluency in English
Willingness to travel nationally, internationally and intercontinentally
Experience with 3D capture and evaluation of measurement data is a plus
Knowledge of quality methods (5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA) and NDT certifications (VT, PT, MT) preferred
