Driver Lead

Driver Lead – Greeley Paratransit (Part-time, up to 30 h/week)

You will supervise driver performance and training, assist riders, de-escalate conflict and manage incidents. When needed you lead by example, driving to ensure outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate lift-equipped vehicles for elderly and disabled passengers
• Train and coach drivers; conduct regular performance reviews
• Resolve customer complaints and optimize service in real time
• Lead post-accident & incident protocols; act as DOT-compliant DER
• Perform vehicle inspections, coordinate logistics, manage lost-and-found & cash handling
• Work with cross-functional teams to scale operational processes and tools

Requirements

• 3+ years transport/paratransit experience including 1 year supervisory
• High-school diploma or equivalent; transport/logistics certifications preferred
• Minimum age 25; valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record
• Proficient with tablet & Google Suite
• Physical ability: safely move 400 lbs+ and kneel inside vehicle to secure wheelchairs
• Flexibility for evening/weekend shifts
• Pass DOT physical, drug screen, background & motor-vehicle checks
• Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus

Compensation

• $24/h, 20–30 h/week (50% driving, 50% training/admin)
• Fixed 8-9 h shifts on-site in Greeley, CO; occasional extended/weekend hours
