Electrical Operations Controller

Do you want to shape the future of renewable energy? Nordex Sverige is looking for an experienced electrical engineer as Electrical Operations Controller (Eldriftledare).

As Electrical Operations Controller you will take full responsibility for all electrical work on Nordex wind turbines in Sweden, ensuring electrical safety and legal compliance in production and maintenance.

You report to the Head of Service Sweden and collaborate closely with colleagues and departments across the Nordic region, supporting subcontractors and customers. A comprehensive onboarding programme is provided.

Head office is in Uppsala, with site offices throughout Sweden. Frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel are required.

Your tasks:

• Provide expert support and take lead responsibility for electrical safety and legal compliance
• Lead and maintain the electrical safety self-audit programme
• Ensure employee training requirements are fulfilled
• Translate legal requirements into electrical safety processes and tools
• Review documentation, designs and installations against local regulations and initiate updates
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation measures

Your profile:

• Authorisation as certified electrical installer (Auktoriserad elinstallatör) and valid Level A electrical qualification
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in electrical work and project management
• Experience with low-, medium- and high-voltage systems (transformers, switchgear, etc.)
• SCADA knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent Swedish and English
