As our ESG Reporting Specialist, you will join a cross-functional team that implements Vestas' ESG reporting strategy in procurement. You will be responsible for ESG reporting, ensuring compliant, transparent and meaningful reporting that supports our sustainability goals.

Your reports will be based on data that meets best-practice approaches for limited assurance. As a subject-matter expert for ESG reporting – including CSRD and Modern Slavery Statements – you will encourage colleagues to apply best practices and work closely with internal stakeholders. You will drive continuous improvements, particularly through partnerships, change and project management.

Beyond reporting, you will support sustainability initiatives on human rights, due diligence, responsible sourcing of minerals and other topics – as well as additional tasks in interdisciplinary teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Subject-matter expertise in ESG reporting & benchmarking aligned with sustainability strategy and procurement KPIs
  • Further develop the ESG reporting framework and help shape transformation initiatives for more resilient, sustainable supply chains
  • Stakeholder communication – internally in the CSRD project and externally with suppliers – to secure our sustainability goals

Your profile

Entry routes:

  • Master's degree in sustainability, supply-chain management, procurement, business administration or similar, plus initial relevant professional experience in a large, complex organisation
  • OR several years of solid experience in ESG reporting (strategy, implementation, execution) in a large, complex organisation

Additional preferences:

  • Demonstrable project-management skills
  • Experience working in distributed teams and communicating at all levels
  • Experience with complex processes and multicultural teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English
