Offshore Major Component Exchange Expert (m/f/d) Siemens®/Vestas®

Deutsche Windtechnik is a European leader in the maintenance, repair and optimization of wind turbines. For our offshore projects in the North and Baltic Seas we are looking for an Offshore Major Component Exchange Expert (m/f/d) focusing on Siemens®/Vestas® to join our Bremen office as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan, analyse and technically approve heavy-lift concepts for offshore major component projects
• Advise project teams, suppliers and external partners
• Prepare and review lift plans, method statements and risk assessments
• Evaluate lifting equipment, installation vessels and transport solutions
• Accompany selected offshore operations to supervise lifting activities
• Ensure compliance with all HSE and technical standards

Your profile:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding or civil engineering
• Several years of experience in heavy lift or offshore installation work on Siemens/Vestas turbines
• Sound knowledge of offshore standards and regulations
• Physical fitness and willingness to travel for offshore assignments
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written
• Class B driving licence
