Fitter Welder (3x12, 5:30 pm–6:30 am Fri–Sun)

Your Day at a Glance
Weekend night shift: 3×12 hours, Fri–Sun 5:30 pm–6:30 am. Skilled in manual GTAW welding of superalloys (Inconel, Hastelloy). Thin-wall welding and passing a 6G open-root butt joint test are mandatory. Proven ability to fit and cold-work parts to drawing requirements.
How You’ll Make an Impact

• Layout, fit and weld gas-turbine combustion components to engineered specs
• Cold-form parts to meet tolerance requirements
• Refinish surfaces with hand tools, grinders, burrs
• Interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints and select appropriate tooling
• Load/unload parts with jib, bridge or forklift cranes
• Achieve Career Readiness Certificate at Silver level

What You Bring

• Pass Inconel GMAW 6G open-root butt joint weld test to ISO standard
• High-school diploma plus 1–3 years industrial welding/assembly experience or formal training
• Willingness to obtain forklift & crane license; prior experience preferred
• Basic shop math and precision measuring skills
• Pass standard vision, hearing, pulmonary-function tests; WorkKeys Silver required
• Lift/carry 50 lbs
