Role Brief and Responsibilities –

  • Lead a team of EHS advisor and quality inspectors. The scope of the team is focused on specific quality & EHS topics. Ensures tasks and inspection are performed when required supporting smooth operation.  
  • Contacts (internal): Cooperation with PM, QM, EHS organization units the area of responsibility
  • Contacts (external): Contacts to supplier, contractors, authorities, and committees only when specifically, authorized, usually under supervision of superior function.
  • Customer Integration: Support methods for the analysis of processes within own scope. Ensure use of methodologies to analyze customer requirements appropriately in order to meet customer expectations.​ 
  • Quality and EHS Planning: Derive planning for own area of responsibility in line with business-driven quality planning Support higher level targets by formulating QM targets and roadmaps tailored to the need and priority of his area of responsibility.​ 
  • Shape and ensure the implementation of all applicable regulations and processes. Set priorities and goals and to manage the FINS team.​ 
  • Ensure qualification and staffing of QM & EHS personnel in the assigned team. Identify, assess and ensure required training. Evaluate the effectiveness of the competency development activities in own area of responsibility.​ 
  • Support the continual professional development of all employees in the team. 

Qualification and Preference –

  • 12-15 years of experience working within project or service EQS in Wind or similar industry. Demonstrable working knowledge of operational Quality/EHS. Project/site management experience is a must.  
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team with diverse nationalities and culture. International working experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Wind industry with mechanical product knowledge of Wind Turbine. 
  • Should be a Graduate or Diploma holder.
  • You have highly developed interpersonal skills and have experience being a well-rounded manager meaning you can coach, support, advise and help develop those field inspectors reporting to you. 
  • Effective communication skills across all levels, from ground workers (blue collar) to senior management. 
  • Excellent English, good Microsoft Office skills. 
  • Travel required: up to 30%
