Vestas’ Internal Prevention Service is a multidisciplinary team of experienced HSE professionals firmly committed to safety. Deployed nationwide, the team supports all regions where Vestas operates in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Drive a strong safety culture and integrate HSE principles into every activity
• Conduct risk assessments
• Recommend corrective and preventive measures to control and minimise identified risks
• Deliver safety training and information to employees
• Monitor risk-control programmes and carry out workplace inspections, including audits on wind turbines
• Support planning of preventive actions and coordinate emergency response and first-aid when required
• Collaborate with external prevention services where applicable
• Participate as a member of the local Safety & Health Committee

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Risk Prevention Technician (minimum two technical specialties; three preferred). Intermediate technicians with proven sector experience will also be considered
• Minimum 5 years as an HSE technician, preferably in wind or renewable energy
• Valid driving licence

Competencies

• Experience working at height – GWO BST Trainer certificate valued
• Motivated, organised, open-minded team player able to manage workload and committed to safety
• Professional-level English
