Construction Manager – Photovoltaics Sector (Barcelona)

Octopus Energy is looking for a Construction Manager to lead our build operations across Catalonia. You will plan, coordinate and quality-assure rooftop PV, battery-storage and heat-pump projects from first drill to final commissioning.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and execute domestic PV, storage and heat-pump installations
• Prepare production, performance and cost reports
• Ensure technical, financial and quality KPIs are met
• Own budgeting and expense control
• Optimise material, equipment and labour usage
• Verify compliance with Spanish electrical and safety codes
• Supervise and coach field teams and subcontractors
• Promote a strong safety-first culture
• Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations

What you bring

• Degree in electrical/industrial engineering, renewables or similar
• 3-5 years proven site-management experience in photovoltaics
• Hands-on expertise in PV and air-source heat pumps
• Problem-solver comfortable making technical decisions on site
• Leadership of installation crews and subcontractors
• Willingness to travel within northern Spain
• Spanish & English fluency preferred
