MES Project Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the MES Project Manager, you will drive the rollout of our Manufacturing Execution System at the new Large Power Transformer plant in Charlotte, North Carolina. From ground-breaking to steady-state production, you shape a world-class digital factory.

You lead the local MES implementation in close cooperation with a global template team and on-site engineering, production, and IT stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• End-to-end responsibility for MES rollout: planning, design, go-live, and stabilization
• Align processes and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, procurement, IT)
• Organize training and workshops to ensure smooth adoption of digital workflows
• Act as key interface between Charlotte site and global MES template team
• Support successful factory start-up and drive continuous improvement

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in heavy manufacturing, ideally operations, production planning, or industrial engineering
• Strong project management skills: scheduling, risk management, stakeholder alignment
• Excellent communicator able to bridge technical teams and shop-floor users
• Sound understanding of MES concepts: work centers, routings, digital work instructions, data collection
• Hands-on MES experience a plus; SAP-DM knowledge desirable
• Willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC; valid U.S. work authorization required
