Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with German GAAP, commercial, tax and corporate law as well as IFRS and HGB
• Support preparation of annual and monthly financial statements (IFRS/consolidation) and perform operational booking of complex business transactions
• Key contact for auditors, tax advisors and other stakeholders
• Engineering & automation: further develop processes, digitise workflows and build our internal control system
• Close collaboration with UK and other country teams to harmonise standards
• Prepare and document regulatory issues from metering operations
• Participate in finance projects to continuously develop the team

What you bring

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of professional experience in auditing, financial accounting or finance department of an industrial/energy company
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and HGB, strong IT affinity and enthusiasm for automation (Excel, Python, Power BI, etc.)
• Hands-on mentality, team spirit and willingness to take responsibility
• Very good German and English skills
• Passion to contribute to a sustainable energy world
