Apprenticeship as Retail Merchant – Organic Food Sector, Wismar (Start 2026)

During the three-year retail merchant apprenticeship you will rotate through all departments of the Denns BioMarkt Wismar. You will learn how to receive, store and attractively present organic products, advise customers competently, operate the checkout and handle ordering and assortment tasks. Your areas include fruit & vegetables, cheese & service counter, bakery, bistro and back-office activities, as well as implementing advertising and promotional campaigns.

Your responsibilities:

• Eye-catching presentation of organic ranges
• Competent, friendly customer consultations
• Cashier duties and balancing
• Executing marketing and promotional actions
• Ordering, receiving, checking and storing goods
• Supporting seasonal displays and sales campaigns

What you bring:

• Good school record, preferably intermediate school-leaving certificate
• Enjoy dealing with people and strong team mindset
• Excellent manners and reliability
• Interest in organic and sustainability topics
