Apprenticeship – Offshore Wind Energy Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d)

2,200 „Windtastics“ at Deutsche Windtechnik keep 7,000 wind farms worldwide running reliably – on- and offshore. To strengthen our team we are looking for motivated apprentices (f/m/d) starting 1 September 2026 to train as Mechatronics Technicians for Service Technology with a focus on offshore wind energy. The entire apprenticeship is based in Bremen, Germany.

Your profile

• Minimum age 18 at start of training
• Interest in technology and strong technical understanding
• Ability to work independently, reliability and sense of responsibility
• Very good German and good English skills
• Physical fitness, head for heights and readiness to work at sea
• Willingness to travel and flexibility regarding shift and deployment schedules

Your apprenticeship

During 3.5 years you will learn how to build, install, maintain and repair complex mechatronic systems in our Bremen training workshop and directly on offshore turbines. The syllabus covers mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics and control technology, and includes qualification as an electrical specialist. Experienced instructors support you until you are ready to pass your final exam independently.
