NDT Inspector – Focus Large Steel Fabrications

Your Responsibilities

As NDT Inspector in the Gas Services Distributed division you will perform non-destructive and dimensional inspections on gas-turbine and packaging-module components. You qualify and develop suppliers, safeguard quality standards and collaborate with a global team on continuous improvements.

• Prepare, execute and follow-up NDT and dimensional inspections
• Supplier qualification & development; implement preventive quality methods
• Root-cause analysis with suppliers and initiation of corrective & preventive actions
• Application of FMEA, 8D, 5-Why, RCA and risk management in supplier processes
• Up to 60 % national and international travel; 3 office days/week when not travelling

Your Profile

• Technical degree or CWI/CWE certificate
• Level-II NDT certification per ASNT/ISO 9712 in VT, MT, PT, UT; LT desirable
• Several years of NDT experience on large steel fabrications (LSF)
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP and quality methods
• Business-fluent English
