Job Description

We offer you a unique opportunity to be a pioneer at our battery gigafactory in Germany. As part of our 12-month Battery Excellence Program in Sweden, you will gain in-depth experience in technical administration and warehouse management. Following this, you will play a key role in building and leading your team within our maintenance organization at Northvolt Germany.About the Role

As a Technical Administration and Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical administration and accessibility of system support, including documentation for the maintenance department together with your team which you will build. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a standardized structure for processes and requirements to support the growth of our organization.

You will be the main point of contact for developing documentation requirements and advancing system support to enhance our technical infrastructure. Implementing and managing health and safety policies and procedures is also a key part of your role, ensuring compliance and safety across all operations.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation requirements and system support for the maintenance department.
  • Collaborate with various departments to establish strategies for effective documentation control and asset management.
  • Create and execute plans for the implementation and development of Asset Management in Dynamics.
  • Continuously improve processes and documentation accessibility for maintenance purposes.
  • Lead cross-functional cooperation to accelerate knowledge transfer and support new equipment integration.
  • Manage and oversee the investment and maintenance budget for your area.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant degree with a good understanding of financial principles.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a similar role with leadership in manufacturing (managing teams of 20+ people).
  • Strong skills in documentation control, standards, legislation, and permits.
  • Knowledge of European legislation and work environments.
  • Ability to quickly shift from strategic thinking to hands-on problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Fluency in additional languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French).
  • Experience in a multicultural environment.
  • Passion for safety, quality, and technical equipment.
