Design Engineer

Job Description

• Create overview and detailed engineering drawings for in-house designs, including schedule and quality control
• Coordinate design specifications with project management and layout planning, and prepare inquiry documents for purchasing
• Review technical quotations, conduct award negotiations and support suppliers during manufacturing, including progress monitoring and quality inspection
• Prepare assembly instructions and operating manual for in-house designs and maintain and further develop standards

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in sheet metal, vessel and steel construction design
• Proficient in CAD software (Inventor 3D)
• Solid understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology
• In-depth knowledge of PDM systems (Vault)
• Good MS Office skills
• Good written and spoken German and English
