CNC Vertical Boring Machinist – GT Rotor (4x10 Night Shift, Mon.–Thurs. 3:45 pm–2:15 am)

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a CNC Vertical Boring Mill (VBM) Operator you manufacture precision components for gas-turbine rotors. You independently set up large vertical CNC lathes with Siemens or FANUC controls, select tools, optimize the machining process and meet schedule and quality targets through continuous in-process inspection.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Set up, program and run CNC VBMs on large rotor parts with minimal supervision
• Read technical drawings and GD&T; verify dimensions with precision instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators)
• Record production and quality data and actively support Lean, Six Sigma and 5S initiatives
• Safely move heavy components with overhead cranes and forklifts per company certification

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC vertical boring mills, preferably with Siemens or FANUC controls
• High-school diploma or GED
• Proven ability to measure large diameters and use precision gages
• Willingness to work a 4x10 night shift (Mon.–Thurs., 3:45 pm–2:15 am)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without Siemens Energy sponsorship
