Factory Projects Trainee

Job Description

Siemens Energy Mexico is looking for a Factory Projects Trainee in León, Guanajuato.

Your Profile

• Degree (preferably Industrial, Business Administration, Project Management, Mechatronics, Process Engineering or related) with interest in factory project management.
• Experience through extracurricular activities, university projects, technical volunteering or internships in industrial processes, continuous improvement, project management or operational areas.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; analytical mindset; basic knowledge of project-management methods (Scrum, PMP, Lean); interest in AI-powered analysis and automation tools.
• Fluent English.
• Proactive, team player, resilient, strong communicator, organized, solution-oriented, analytical, adaptable, tech-savvy.

Your Responsibilities

• Support operational project management including planning, tracking and documentation.
• Analyze production and performance data to enable data-driven decisions.
• Leverage generative AI to optimize reports, automate administrative tasks and perform risk & opportunity analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time execution of critical project activities.
• Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean methods.
• Track KPIs and derive corrective actions.
• Prioritize accurately and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
