SGT-A65/A45 Fleet Support Engineer – Mechanical

Your Role in a Nutshell

As Lead Mechanical Engineer in Siemens Energy’s global SGT-A65/A45 Fleet-Support team in Montreal you will drive defect investigations, apply root-cause-analysis and steer reliability-improvement initiatives. You author Service Bulletins, mentor junior engineers and support regional technical and field-service teams worldwide, including occasional overseas travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCA-based defect investigations and fleet-performance analysis
• Develop and implement service-improvement measures to raise fleet reliability
• Provide technical guidance to regional service teams and customers
• Draft and release Service Bulletins & Technical Instructions
• Travel internationally for on-site support and customer alignment

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Experience with gas turbines, preferably in a service environment
• Strong analytical skills, solution focus and ability to lead small teams
• Fluent English for technical documentation and global communication; French beneficial for Montreal location
• Comfortable with remote work and collaboration in a multicultural, global team
