As a Certification Specialist, you manage the type-approval process for wind turbines and ensure that technical documentation and manufacturer declarations are complete, compliant with standards, and audit-proof. You act as the central interface between Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and external certification bodies.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintenance and updating of the technical database (models, revisions, certificates, boundary conditions)
- Creation, review and release of manufacturer declarations for customers and certification bodies
- Coordination and management of all certification documents within projects
- Ensuring compliance with DIBt guidelines, BLmSchG, IEC 61400 and further regulations
- Close collaboration with internal departments to guarantee data consistency and traceability
- Control of document revisions for technical or regulatory changes
- Support of internal and external audits in the field of certification documentation
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering or comparable qualification (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, quality management)
- Experience in technical documentation, preferably in certification or type testing of wind turbines
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (IEC 61400, DIBt, BLmSchG)
- Proficiency in MS Office and databases; experience with document management systems is an advantage
- Structured, detail-oriented and highly organised working style
- Communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
- Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
