Customs Process Specialist

Your area of responsibility

Siemens Energy controls global goods flows – modern IT solutions reduce costs and risks in import, export and customs classification. With our customs applications we implement global customs strategies digitally and automatically.

You translate customs requirements into clear IT specifications, manage the implementation in the global trade management system and drive the digitization of manual customs processes.

• Analysis & visualization of core business processes (import, export, classification, origin, procedures)
• Identification of automation potential and standardization according to global requirements
• Interface between customs department and external IT partners throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Ensuring data quality and availability in the system

Your profile

• Completed degree (e.g. business informatics, business administration) or comparable commercial training with focus on foreign trade/customs
• At least 5 years of practical experience in customs environment, ideally in process digitization
• Sound knowledge of national and international customs regulations as well as AEO standards
• Strong analytical skills, project management experience and high degree of initiative
• Fluent English; German skills advantageous
