As a local transport dispatcher (f/m/d) you will handle daily route planning for our truck fleet and ensure efficient, sustainable deployment of vehicles and staff in the Knittlingen area.

Your tasks

• Create and optimise tour schedules for safe, on-time waste collection
• Continuously review and improve routes with regard to traffic, environmental and cost factors
• First point of contact for our professional drivers and loaders on all operational issues
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements (traffic law, working time, safety)
• Manage bottlenecks and carry out short-term re-scheduling when disruptions occur

Your profile

• Completed vocational training e.g. as a freight forwarding clerk (f/m/d) or comparable commercial logistics qualification; transport management specialist (f/m/d) advantageous
• Professional experience in route planning, preferably in the waste disposal or logistics sector
• Solid knowledge of traffic law and good local knowledge of the Knittlingen region
• Strong organisational skills, communicative leadership competence and entrepreneurial thinking
• High resistance to stress and team spirit
