Nous recherchons un(e) gestionnaire de projet talentueux(se) pour se joindre à notre mission d’accélérer la transition vers un avenir plus vert. Ce poste reporte directement à la Directrice de Projet et est basé au Québec, dans la région de Montréal. En se joignant à notre équipe, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l'établissement et la montée en puissance de l'une des premières usines de batteries à grande échelle en Amérique du Nord.

À propos du poste

Sous la responsabilité de la Directrice de Projet, le-la Gestionnaire de projet jouera un rôle central dans la mise en place de notre nouvelle méga-usine en participant à la planification détaillée des activités et à la gestion du budget. Vous participerez au management de l’exécution d’une zone, incluant le suivi du développement du design, des achats, de la construction et l’installation des équipements de production. Le tout dans le respect des règles de sécurité, avec des hauts standards de qualité.

Le-la candidat(e) retenu(e) apportera une riche expertise technique, une expérience en gestion de projet et une approche proactive de résolution de problèmes, cross-fonctionnelle.

Les principales responsabilités sont :

• Direction de projet : Diriger les aspects relatifs à la discipline et à la portée de l'interface du projet, en veillant à ce que tous les éléments soient méticuleusement planifiés, gérés et exécutés afin d'atteindre les objectifs du projet.
• Exécution du projet : Diriger la planification, l'ingénierie et la conception, l'approvisionnement, la construction et la mise en service pour une portée définie, et assurer la liaison avec l'équipe chargée de l'environnement et des autorisations pour garantir la conformité avec les réglementations. Gérer le suivi des obstacles, des risques et des opportunités potentiels et veiller à la résolution et à la mise en œuvre des solutions, en rationalisant l'exécution.
• Développement de l'équipe : Diriger, encadrer et responsabiliser les autres membres de l'équipe, en favorisant un environnement de travail collaboratif et innovant.
• Collaboration interfonctionnelle : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de conception de l'usine, l'équipe des opérations, l'équipe des achats, les professionnels de l'ingénierie, les entrepreneurs, les parties prenantes et les pairs afin d'intégrer les solutions liées aux processus et aux bâtiments de manière transparente dans l'ensemble du projet.
• Objectifs ambitieux : Conduire le projet vers la réalisation de nos objectifs ambitieux (respect des coûts et du calendrier), en jouant un rôle clé dans la construction et le lancement réussis de la méga-usine.
• Esprit intrapreneurial : Saisir l'opportunité d'agir en tant qu'intrapreneur dans notre environnement en constante évolution, où la résolution créative des problèmes et l'initiative sont très appréciées.

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our mission to accelerate the transition to a greener future. This position reports directly to the Project Director and is based in Montreal. By joining our team, you will play a key role in the establishment and ramp-up of our new gigafactory and contribute to the construction of one of the first large-scale battery factories in North America.

About the job

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will play a central role in the implementation of our new gigafactory, participating in the detailed planning of activities and budget management, through the management of the execution of an area, including the monitoring of design development, procurement, construction and installation of production equipment, in compliance with safety regulations, with high quality standards.

The successful candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise, project management experience and a proactive, cross-functional approach to problem solving, making a significant contribution to the success of our innovative battery production projects.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Project Leadership : Drive discipline and interface scope aspects of the project, ensuring that all elements are meticulously planned, managed, and executed to meet project objectives
• Project Execution : Steer Planning, Engineering and Design, Procure, Construction, Commission for a defined scope, and liaise with the environmental and permitting team to ensure compliance with regulations. Manage the monitoring of potential blockers, risks, opportunities and ensure resolution and implementation of solutions, streamlining execution.
• Team Development : Lead, mentor, and empower other team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with our factory design team, operations team, procurement team, engineering professionals, contractors, stakeholders, and peers to integrate process & buildings related solutions seamlessly into the overall project.
• Ambitious Targets : Drive the project towards achieving our ambitious goals (meeting cost and schedule compliance), playing a key role in the successful construction and launch of the Gigafactory

Skills & Requirements

Quelques prérequis:

• Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en ingénierie, management ou domaine connexe
• Plusieurs expériences pertinentes idéalement dans un rôle similaire
• Une vaste expérience en leadership de projets dans des environnements industriels exigeants et en évolution rapide.
• Une maîtrise de Microsoft Project
• Une forte orientation vers l'exécution, d'excellentes compétences en gestion du temps.
• De solides compétences en communication, tant en interne qu'avec les fournisseurs et les contractants en construction
• La capacité à travailler dans des délais serrés.
• Une approche structurée et organisée.
• La capacité à travailler en équipe tout en étant autonome.
• Communication bilingue : Communiquer couramment en français et en anglais pour collaborer efficacement une équipe diversifiée et assurer la liaison avec les parties prenantes locales et internationales.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or relevant field
• Several relevant experience ideally in a similar role
• Extensive project leadership experience in demanding and fast-paced industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project
• Strong execution orientation, excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both internally and with suppliers and construction contractors
• The ability to work with tight deadlines.
• A structured and organized approach.
• The ability to work as part of a team while being autonomous.
• Bilingual communication: Fluent in French and English to work effectively with a diverse team and liaise with local and international stakeholders.
