Vestas Procurement department is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• As a Specialist for Procurement Excellence & Finance you will, in collaboration with our cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Construction and Engineering, work on cost optimization and value engineering across the supply chain with the aim of driving effectiveness of our offering.
• You support the Regional Procurement Organization through: - Understanding the target price, target cost and projected cost development for the region's key wind turbine configurations
• Oversee improvement initiatives and support business development projects to improve revenue & profit
• Deliver supply market intel, analysis and implications on supply chain dynamics, raw materials, currency
• Oversee Process Excellence in the Regional Procurement Department by implementing Global Processes and Governance in the Regional Set-up
• KPI & Data accuracy improvement
• Reporting to the directly to the Head of Procurement in the Region

Qualifications

• Masters Degree or similar with Finance, Business Administration, International Management, mathematics or other relevant fields
• Data analytics & associated IT tools experience- Prior work experience with focus on analytics and proven history turning data into value
• Fluent in English, Danish and or German language would be a plus
• 5 years plus work experience. Beneficially in larger organizations
