Job Description

The Energy Platform team integrates and digitally operates all Enpal products in customers’ homes – from controlling heat pumps to trading energy on wholesale markets. As a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/x) you will build the Data Platform that forms the heart of our solar fleet and enables other teams to create stellar customer experiences.

• Build scalable, cloud-native microservices and event-driven architectures
• Own the full lifecycle: code, tests, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
• Optimise data pipelines (Kafka, Databricks) for millions of IoT data points
• Shape architecture vision and technical roadmap
• Collaborate closely with product management, operations and sales

Qualifications

• Several years of experience building scalable, testable software products
• Strong command of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and IaC tools
• Hands-on microservices, event-driven architecture and Kafka or similar
• Ideally background in data-platform solutions and high-performance systems
• High agility, willingness to learn and passion for the energy transition
• Excellent English; German is a plus
