Electrical Engineer (f/m/d) for Medium- and High-Voltage Systems

Join us in developing electrical systems for low-emission power generation, hydrogen production and HVDC transmission to stabilise the extra-high-voltage grid.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse project specifications for medium- and high-voltage components (switchgear, cables, instrument transformers)
• Create basic-design drawings and technical contract documents
• Manage suppliers: clarify requirements, monitor schedules and review documentation
• Ensure quality through document checks and factory acceptance tests
• Coordinate interfaces with steelwork, plant control, protection and earthing systems
• Support erection and commissioning and contribute to standards and improvement processes

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or energy management
• Professional experience in electrical design of MV/HV switchgear
• Skills in 2D/3D tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, AVEVA E3D) and LV switchgear beneficial
• Fluent German and very good English; willingness to travel
