**Position Summary:**We are seeking a proficient Structural FEA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in mechanical engineering, specifically in the structural design of wind turbine generators. This role requires proficiency in creating and analyzing FEA models, interpretation of results, provide solution to complex problems, as well as effective communication and documentation skills to ensure successful project outcomes.

How to contribute to our vision

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Understand and interpret the structural design requirements of wind turbine generators.

- Develop FEA models and perform structural calculations using both analytical and simulation techniques.

- Perform structural analysis of generator components to evaluate structural integrity.

- Execute static structural, dynamic, model analysis, vibro-acoustics of generator systems. Interpret FEA simulations results and propose design solutions based on post-processing.

- Validate FEA simulations through component level testing or comparison with experimental test data.

- Prepare comprehensive documents to meet certification requirements.

- Enhance and develop structural simulation methodologies and tools.

- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, chief engineers, and other stakeholders throughout all project phases.

- Participate in design and verification reviews, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries for development projects.

**Qualifications:**

- Graduate/Post Graduate (BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech) in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering.

- Total Experience: 8-12 years (minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the wind industry is preferable).

- Highly proactive with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and advanced-level knowledge of machine design.

- Extensive experience with "Ansys" (Classic & Workbench) and proficiency in Ansys APDL.

- Hands-on experience with 3D design software NX (preferable for transferring 3D models to the Ansys environment).

- Experience in the structural design of large mechanical components (large castings, welded structures, and forged components).

- Proficient in analytical calculations of bolted/welded joints, static linear, nonlinear, dynamic, buckling, and fatigue analysis. Good understanding of HCF/LCF and fracture mechanics.

- Familiarity to international standards and certification requirements for WTG components or similar.

- Competence in failure and root cause analysis.

- Knowledge of material selection.
