Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer (South West)

Role

Install and commission dual-fuel smart meters for Octopus Energy customers across Devon and the South West. Represent the brand in customers’ homes, deliver safety-focused technical work and clear, friendly guidance on how smart technology supports lower carbon living.

Key responsibilities

• Safe installation & commissioning of electricity and gas smart meters and in-home displays
• Explain meter functionality, energy-saving features and Octopus’ green mission
• Complete digital job packs accurately to minimise admin time
• Maintain first-time fix rate and customer satisfaction targets

Essential qualifications & skills

• MOCoPA certificate (issued within last 2 years, evidence available)
• Gas Safe CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or recognised equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (≤ 6 penalty points)
• Proven safety and customer-service record
