Electronics / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for Major Component Service on Wind Turbines

Deutsche Windtechnik, with 2,300 highly trained employees, is a specialist in the maintenance, repair, optimization and inspection of wind turbines. For our onshore team at the Erkelenz location we are looking for an Electronics / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for major component service on wind turbines to start immediately.

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician (specialising in machine and drive technology) or in a comparable electrical field
• Knowledge of control and regulation technology, hydraulics, power electronics and ideally general mechanics
• Experience in the wind-energy sector is an advantage
• Head for heights and physical fitness for work at great altitudes
• High flexibility, willingness to travel throughout Germany and strong teamwork skills
• Driving licence Class B or BE preferred
• Both career starters and experienced professionals are welcome

• Service and maintenance work on wind turbines across Germany in a team
• Replacement of major components and subsequent turbine recommissioning
• Repairs on electronic, mechanical and hydraulic components and in control & regulation technology
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Documentation of all work carried out

• 38.5-hour week and 30 days’ annual leave
