Service > Global Service Operations > Technical Leads The Technical Leads Department is part of Turbine Operations Engineering within the global service organization. The department delivers service solutions to all brands (Vestas and Multibrand), enabling the service business to fulfill its strategic objectives. The solutions vary from parts & repair over maintenance concepts to product improvements like component life extensions, optimizations of performance, operational readiness, and cost-out initiatives. Moreover, the department executes engineering change requests (ECM), namely lifecycle management and operational Q-HSE, and is the product owner of the input signal management (ISM) for non-standard products.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review safety-related documentation (work instructions, risk assessments, LOTO procedures, etc.) for service
  • Participate in global HSE projects as SME
  • Support the ECM and the service product development teams as well as regions with HSE competence
  • Interact with global Q-HSE to adopt and give input to global HSE processes and guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in safety engineering or similar (e.g. electrical or mechanical engineering with additional safety education)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wind industry or a similar industry
  • Solid knowledge of relevant normative regulations
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • High degree of organization and effective planning skills
