Manual Machinist (Various Shifts)

Siemens Energy is hiring full-time Manual Machinists for multiple shifts across Steam Turbine, Large Generator, Gas Turbine and Combustion operations.

Your Day-to-Day

Join us as a skilled Manual Machinist. You will lay out, manufacture, modify, repair and assemble complex fixtures and tools with limited supervision, using conventional and specialized manual equipment (lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills).

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machines; perform varied machining operations
• Drive continuous improvement through 5S and Lean manufacturing
• Run VBM, lathe and HBM equipment
• Use diverse tables and fixtures

Your Profile

• High-school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• 4+ years in manual machining: setup, tool selection, troubleshooting, metrology, blueprint reading
• Strong math skills and proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read complex drawings, specs, charts and tables
• Willingness to obtain forklift and crane licenses via internal certification
• Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required
• Pass hearing, vision and pulmonary function tests for safe task performance
• Legal US work authorization without future employer-sponsored visa support
