Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Risk Analyst to join our organization, where your role will be instrumental in enhancing our risk management and quality assurance practices. Reporting to our Quality Systems Manager, you will become an integral part of our Quality team. As a Risk Analyst, your primary responsibility is to drive the identification and mitigation of risks across our organization in particular in our Gigafactory in Skelleftea, ensuring compliance with industry standards and the establishment of a robust risk analysis framework.

Your expertise encompasses proficiency in risk management, effective communication, and relationship building, with a deep understanding of product design and manufacturing requirements. Your knowledge enables you to craft risk management strategies that integrate into our operations, ensuring staff preparedness and compliance with industry standards. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and prioritizing tasks for timely issue resolution. With a customer-centric mindset, you're committed to continuous quality improvement, fostering a culture of risk-awareness and excellence within our organization.

About the job

As a Risk Analyst, your role is central to the organization's quality and risk management efforts. You will play a crucial role in analysing and mitigating risks associated with product design and manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your responsibilities include identifying potential failure modes, managing special and critical characteristics, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product safety and quality. Your goal is to establish a robust risk analysis framework and promote a culture of risk-awareness and quality excellence throughout the organization, fostering a proactive approach to risk management and quality assurance

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining a robust FMEA architecture to facilitate the identification and mitigation of risks across our organization.
  • Implementing and overseeing a framework for the management of Special Characteristics (SC) and Critical Characteristics (CC), ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Managing a system for Lessons Learned to capture and apply knowledge gained from past experiences, promoting continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Identifying and assessing business risks and opportunities, with a particular focus on our Gigafactory in Skelleftea, to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborating across cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing to optimize risk management processes.
  • Establishing FMEA training programs and promoting continuous development to equip the organization with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective risk analysis and mitigation.
  • Conduct FMEA workshops to drive continuous improvement and transfer risk mitigation strategies across different products, processes, and systems, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of risk management best practices.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

*A relevant academic degree or equivalent practical experience. * Several years of hands-on experience in risk analysis, FMEA, and quality management in a relevant industry, including exposure to risk mitigation strategies. * Strong knowledge of quality processes, standards, and regulatory requirements * Proficiency in AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook Expertise, with the ability to adapt FMEA practices in alignment with these industry guidelines. * In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools, including risk matrices, fault tree analysis, and root cause analysis. * Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from FMEA data using relevant software tools * A proactive and results-oriented approach to risk management, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when addressing potential risks, leading to effective risk mitigation strategies. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
