Power Solutions > Applications, Controls & Electrical > Turbine Control Software module Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, DevEx, as part of Turbine Control Software module. Turbine Control Software module is responsible for delivering embedded control applications for turbines. Our mission in the DevEx department is to empower developers within the module by equipping them with essential tools, applications, control frameworks, and streamlined pipelines. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide engineering solutions that impact the workflow of more than 100 engineers
  • Take part in modernizing and optimizing our toolchain stack to enhance its efficiency and relevance
  • Design and develop pipelines, plugins, tools, and scripts to support our teams' daily delivery processes
  • Document and present your contributions clearly and accurately to both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications Your qualifications include: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or or equivalent practical experience
  • Expertise in creating and managing workflows involving containers
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD integration and build pipelines, particularly with Jenkins
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python
  • Proficiency in using Git
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices to ensure robust software development
  • Experience working within agile frameworks
