Senior Test Engineer (f/m/d)

Join Axpo Services EMEA to drive quality across our customer-facing platforms! As a Senior Testing Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality in our frontend, backend, and mobile applications.

What you will do:

• Take ownership of manual and automated testing for React/TypeScript frontends, Java-based backend services, and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders during refinement and planning sessions to translate feedback into structured test scenarios and actionable improvements.

• Continuously assess and enhance the QA foundation, improving test reliability and coverage across the platform.

• Maintain and evolve the Selenium/Java automation framework, including test structure and reporting via ExtentReports.

What you bring & who you are:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• Strong hands-on experience testing React and TypeScript web applications.

• Proven experience testing Java-based backend systems, including REST APIs and microservices.

• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java for UI test automation, with TestNG and ExtentReports. Familiarity with Cypress is a plus.

• Experience with Appium for mobile application testing.

• Proficiency with REST Assured for API test automation and tools like Bruno or Postman for exploratory API testing.

• Ability to write clean, well-structured test code in Java.

• Experience with E2E, API, and integration testing in an agile environment.

• Excellent English communication skills (C1).
