How to contribute to our vision

We are looking for a Site Logistics Operations Team Lead with impeccable emotional intelligence and drive to lead our daily operations. We are looking for a people oriented, skilled and dedicated Manager who loves challenges and is interested to build up a new team based in Gdansk, Poland.

The Site Logistics team belongs to the SGRE Offshore Execution organization and manages the demand and delivery of all necessary tools and equipment for any project worldwide, as well as managing all deliveries of any spare parts, within the Business Unit Offshore. 

Your responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • You will be part of the Site Logistics Management team and directly report to the Head of Site Logistics and like this being part of the construction management family in Offshore Projects.
  • To manage a team of more of 10 internal employees based worldwide.
  • Your team is ensuring the proper order- and planning process for Offshore main components & site parts, ensuring the export/ import flow for material being shipped out Offshore and preparing the related master data in SAP to make the order and deliver flow possible.
  • To manage ad hoc tasks being solution oriented.
  • You are proud to part of a renewables future and contribute to install some of the largest Offshore wind farms in the world.
  • We want you to be an integral part in the decision making and expansion of our Hub in Poland. We want you to build up a cross-country team.

What you need to make a difference 

In addition to a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change we are also looking for:

  • A passion for building people relationships and a real desire and drive to lead our hub. We can’t stress enough how important it is for you to have a great sense of emotional intelligence. We are not just looking for a leader. We are looking for a people person that loves to interact with both colleagues and stakeholders on a personal level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Ideally in large construction projects or project execution in wind around material handling/ supply chain.
  • Leadership experience of international teams at different locations (min 2 years).
  • Ideally, we would like you to have a master’s degree in supply chain/ logistics; freight forwarding, industrial engineering, project management, business administration, economics, or similar. But we gladly welcome applicants with a different education or that earned their qualifications through an alternative manner.
  • Good technical insight on master data set up and order management processes.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Wish to be a part of an international team located in different countries where we work together and support each other.
  • Result-orientated, self-driven and persistent person while also being open.
  • Strong SAP Background or Material / Logistic flows experience. A profile which has a track record of 5+ years of successful experience in a directly related field.
  • Able to improve and built-up a cross-country team.
  • Good IT skills (MS office package specially Excel incl. Power BI).
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
