Apprenticeship as Retail Merchant for Organic Products – Bochum Wattenscheid (2026)

During your 3-year apprenticeship as a retail merchant at Denns BioMarkt you will discover every aspect of the organic food trade – from goods receipt and expert customer advice to checkout operations. You will help shape the product range, plan promotions and create appealing product displays. Taking responsibility in the fruit & vegetable, cheese and bakery counters, bistro and back office, you will become a competent contact for organic products.

Your tasks

• Presenting and maintaining attractive product displays
• Providing knowledgeable, friendly advice on organic and natural products
• Operating the checkout and balancing cash totals
• Ordering, receiving, quality-checking and storing goods
• Implementing advertising and sales campaigns
• Assisting with seasonal and placement concepts

What you bring
