Engineer (m/f/d) CHT and Flow Simulation

Your contribution to a sustainable energy future
As part of an innovative energy technology company, you will develop concepts for a secure, efficient and sustainable energy supply. In our Product Development team you will perform analytical and numerical investigations on high-voltage components and use your simulation expertise to advance the development of our world-leading products.
Your responsibilities

• Develop simulation tools and calculation methods including macros
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Contribute to development and customer projects to foster innovation
• Plan qualification tests for high-voltage switchgear and components
• Develop technical solutions in collaboration with project teams
• Document and communicate calculation results to stakeholders

Your profile

• Knowledge of heat transfer and flow simulation
• Several years of experience with thermal equivalent circuits (thermal network method)
• Programming skills and fundamentals of computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
• Experience in planning and evaluating experimental investigations
• Hands-on experience with simulation software, especially Ansys Maxwell and Fluent
• Strong analytical, communication and team skills combined with fluent German and English
