Hands-on insights into technical apprenticeships at Beznau Nuclear Power Plant!

The plant is easily reached by public transport.

Are you in your first or second year of upper secondary school and want to see if a technical or skilled-trade career suits you?

During an action-packed day you will gain exciting insights into three technical apprenticeships at Axpo:

• Automation Engineer EFZ

• Poly-Mechanic EFZ

• Insulation Fitter EFZ

Together with our apprentices and vocational trainers you will take on practical tasks, try out typical activities, get to know the tools and discover how diverse and fascinating technical careers in a nuclear power plant can be.

You will also receive short career briefings, application tips and enjoy lunch with our apprentices – the perfect opportunity to ask questions and experience their day-to-day life.

Note:
This Power Day is not aimed at students who are already looking for apprenticeships starting in summer 2026. It is designed for those who are still exploring career options and want a first taste of these trades.
