This role is open to candidates legally authorized to work in Singapore (citizens and permanent residents); visa sponsorship is unavailable. Expect ~50 % travel, especially during the first two years.

Siemens Energy accelerates the energy transition: our gas turbines run on green fuels and our industrial heat pumps decarbonise district and process heat. Advanced measurement systems on these turbines make the difference – that’s where you come in.

As Mechanical Engineer (Installation) you will fit measurement probes and transducers directly on gas-turbine test beds, assemble/disassemble engine parts (blades, vanes, combustors, burners) and route cables and measurement chains to data-acquisition systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Install instrumentation (thermocouples, pressure taps, strain gauges, optical & IR cameras, vibration & acoustic sensors) on gas turbines
• Support prototype-engine commissioning by mounting and removing turbine components and related instrumentation
• Work on-site during engine runs and contribute to reliable test-data collection
• Advance installation procedures and deepen expertise in cutting-edge measurement techniques

What You Bring

• Technical education in electronics, instrumentation or measurement technology preferred
• Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical installation within industrial environments
• Prior involvement in gas-turbine commissioning is advantageous
• Strong command of English, written and spoken
• Curious mindset and high motivation to learn new technologies
• Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50 % per year)
