Materials Engineer

As a Materials Engineer in our Innovation unit you will join a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team responsible for designing, developing and testing new materials and for improving existing ones. You will align customer requirements with business objectives, ensure products fit our strategy and roadmap, provide technical support in supplier and customer meetings, and lead R&D and innovation projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyse material properties and their effective use in various applications
• Conduct and evaluate material tests to assess properties, performance and durability
• Research new materials and technologies, track industry trends and develop innovative solutions
• Create design, specification and test documentation to meet regulatory standards
• Manage projects to meet timelines and budgets
• Solve mechanical issues to enhance product performance and reliability

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in materials testing and analysis
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Passion for innovation, customer focus and continuous improvement
