As a Service Technician in the Onshore Wind Operations team in Santiago, your day combines hands-on field work with administrative tasks that ensure availability, continuity and optimal performance of wind turbines. Under guidance you perform preventive maintenance, support corrective repairs and collaborate closely with the technical team to meet highest standards of safety, quality and precision.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbine components according to established procedures and checklists.
- Support senior technicians in diagnosing and performing basic corrective actions on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strictly follow Siemens Energy safety protocols and industry standards.
- Ensure proper use, care and operational readiness of tools and equipment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as spare-parts inventory, work-order management and activity reporting.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on completed work and time logging.
What You Bring
- Valid GWO Basic Safety Training certificate.
- Technical degree or vocational training in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably in industrial or energy environments.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting, electrical systems and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work with hand & power tools, SAP and inventory systems.
- Behaviors: accountability, active listening, teamwork, strong attention to detail.
