B2B Pre-check – Photovoltaic Projects

Octopus Energy Spain is looking for a Pre-check Technician (Sales Engineering) to join the Engineering team in Valencia.

Your mission: ensure the technical feasibility of photovoltaic, battery and charger installations before execution, making sure every project is perfectly defined to deliver the best customer experience.

📝 Your day-to-day

• Review PV, battery and EV-charger projects, validate technical feasibility
• Analyse technical data and spot possible issues or constraints ahead of installation
• Coordinate with engineering and sales to ensure correct project sizing
• Prepare and complete all required technical documentation for each project
• Use internal tools (CRM and technical software) to record information and track progress
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sales-engineering processes

🎯 What you need to shine

• Vocational training in Electricity, Renewable Energy, Electrical Installations or similar
• Knowledge of photovoltaic systems
• Minimum 1 year in field or office technical roles
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
• Basic use of digital tools (CRM, internal software, Google Workspace…)
• Attention to detail, planning, effective communication, proactivity

It will be a plus if… you have previous experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales, have worked on renewable-energy projects, are familiar with licensing/authorisation procedures, or have basic technical English.
