How to contribute to our vision

Our mission is to serve as a one-stop solution provider, ensuring the timely availability of materials for our external partner AVIM in the nacelle assemblyprocess. By addressing critical questions of ‘what to buy’, ‘where to buy’, and ‘when to buy’, we ensure materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and of the right quality. We engage with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline and optimize the material supply chain, fostering seamless production operations.

1. Materials Availability Assurance. Ensure materials are available at the production site safely, on time, in the correct quantity, and of the highest quality.

2. Bill of Materials (BOM) Management. Provide and maintain an up-to-date Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) list;

3. Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) Coordination. Coordinate ECNs among all internal and external stakeholders, ensure that all due changes are communicated and implemented effectively;

4. Stakeholder Engagement. Foster close collaboration in the areas materials supply, with internal stakeholders (such as procurement, MS, TE, and BU ON/ OF) and external partners (like AVIM);

5. Material Availability Performance Reporting. Develop and maintain metrics to report on material availability performance, ensure transparency and risk awareness;

6. Supply Disruption Mitigation. Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation measures;

7. Continuous Improvement:

Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify and Share Best Practices, organize benchmark practices between internal plants and external partners, continually identify best practices in areas of materials management from external partners like AVIM, and share these best practices with internal plants to facilitate learning and improvement;

8. Supply chain: Training and ensuring supplier deliveries according to SGRE quality standards, 3rd party contract management and PO placement

9. Tooling and equipment transfer( for selected products)

10. Stock transfer ( for selected products)

  • Material Availability, and Expediting

    Undertaking material availability analyses, secure maintenance of the parameters and master data as well as expediting purchase and supply sources in order to guarantee materials availability at the right time, right place, right quality, and quantity, and take ownership on safety during entire process of material supply chain and logistics.

  • Process diligence

    Ensure on-time sourcings in line with SGRE demand and Gateway process, proactively identify materials supply risks, actively lead materials shortage escalations, and seek mitigation solutions together with internal and external stakeholders.  Process harmonization. Create and adapt efficient forms of roles & responsibility, procedures and process to ensure rationalization potential, to optimize productivity, and to meet Total cost of ownership requirements, taking operational effects into account.

  • Data Management

    Ensure high quality in system and process data, identifying gaps and mitigation solutions, optimization and development.

  • Inbound Logistics

    Continuous improvements on inbound logistics, and raise the potential of an optimal transport network, delivering on-time and at right cost.

  • Risk management

    Tracing the ordering and delivery processes of suppliers in order to proactively identify risks, and if necessary to take corrective measures in good time and be able to provide suitable solutions. Assess risks, opportunities, and market forces in the area of material supply chain and logistics, together with the Commodity Management to avoid potential damage and exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk and claim management (e.g. contractual framework;)

  • Inventory management

    Monitoring of inventory levels and undertaking intelligent inventory management in order to guarantee high supply levels with minimum inventories in a cost-effective way

  • Cost deviations management

    Support Finance, in the course of actual purchasing cost validations and reportings, wherever necessary, bring in expertise from Procurement and suppliers to identify differences and obtain clarification.

  • Supplier Management (tier 2)

    Supporting an active supplier management scheme, to obtain the best performance from suppliers. Organize and drive yearly session of inputs to global commodity management, to allow feedback from virtual plants to Procurement, and opportunities for commodity strategies optimization.

  • Materials Cost

    Drive cost improvements through collaboration with internal commodity owners, as well design cost-out initiatives with cross-function teams. Secure excellence in manufacturing cost at virtual plant AVIM, as well other total-cost-of ownership areas.

  • Contract adherence, and provide inputs for adaptions

    Adhere to established contracts with virtual plant, and wherever relevant, provide improvement opportunities and adaptions to allow continuous improvement and actual dynamics, in the area of materials supply chain and logistics.

  • Project support and Customer focus

    Support problem-solving of supply related issues, to secure project objectives and customer focus (internal, and external)

  • Stakeholders Management

    Actively contributing to cooperation with all relevant stakeholders involved, to keep interface partners informed wherever necessary, and jointly create an optimum material supply chain and logistics chain.
