Job Description

You are responsible for execution of one or several of our investment projects. The projects normally cover facility design and construction and/or installation of new manufacturing processes or equipment. You will oversee projects for the whole project life cycle from idea to completion supporting the long-term expansion plan for the Västerås R&D campus reporting to the Senior Manager for the Project Management Office.

You have a long experience in successful Project Management from the manufacturing industry working with production process development and equipment installation and commissioning for complex manufacturing processes. If you have experience from working with large scale industrialization projects in combination with facility design and construction, you have a perfect background. Perhaps you already have experience from setting up a new factory including procurement and installation of new equipment, then you would have the perfect background.

Preferably these projects have been large, innovative, and challenging projects with high demands on quality, time management and financial control. Ideally you come from an engineering background or similar and have experienced ambitious international projects and environments.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and fulfilment of designated project budget in line with the project’s scope and milestones.

• Delivering the project scope through cross functional development and tracking of the cross functional project timeline

• Ensures the realization of all project life cycle phases, for example: requirements definition, design, sourcing/procurement, execution, cold and hot commissioning till handover to end user.

• Ensure all project management processes are tailored, implemented and maintained through out the project life

• Regular reporting of platform and project performance.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

• A degree in MSc or MBA/Relevant University Degree
• You have a long experience in successful Project Management from the manufacturing industry working with production process development and equipment installation and commissioning for complex manufacturing processes.
• Experience in implementing International Project Management standards.
• If you have experience from working with large scale industrialization projects in combination with facility design and construction, you have a perfect background.

• Perhaps you already have experience from setting up a new factory including procurement and installation of new equipment, then you would have the perfect background.

• Excellent English written and oral skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience and interest in battery manufacturing industry or similar

• Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)

• Experience from a multi-cultural environment
