Vestas' Service Operation Support Department for Poland and Baltic countries is a part of Vestas Service Poland which is responsible for supporting operational activities on the wind turbines. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth. We are looking for motivated, energized and competent Quality Supervisor who, with his experience and commitment, will have a beneficial impact on the implementation of tasks carried out throughout the company's structure. Due to the versatility of task, a person dedicated to this role can significantly influence and develop company areas, as well as directly develop personal skills, based on the activities of this role.

Responsibilities Field Quality Supervisor maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain people and product quality to identify, solve and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements in Vestas. The main responsibilities will be:

  • Preparation of sites visits strategy based on internal processes, customer opinions and the needs of internal operational structures
  • Quality control in Technical and Administrative areas in order to meet quality standards
  • Monitor and inspect business processes to ensure quality standards are met.  Support in trainings on quality assurance practices
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement; active cooperation with managers and supervisors to improve in required areas
  • Participate in internal and external reviews when required, to ensure compliance to quality standards of Vestas
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation and processes, including review plans and the protocols
  • Perform other duties as directed by quality systems and regulatory compliance rules

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Wind Energy industry preferably in field of quality control
  • Very good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience in managing audits incl. building relationships and providing technical and substantive support
  • Knowledge of operational processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness 
  • High level of supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • Decision making and high problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
