Procurement Professional Special Projects

As a Procurement Professional for Special Projects at our Charlotte, NC campus you join a highly motivated, knowledgeable and diverse team. Reporting directly to the department head, you work closely with procurement staff every day. You use multiple systems and tools to collect and analyse data, identify areas for action and make informed decisions. You independently lead special projects to completion and turn them into standard practice. As a key contact, you provide essential data and process know-how for the entire team.

How You Make an Impact

• Analyse large data sets and prepare KPIs and decision-making material
• Act as subject-matter expert and first-level support for complex procurement issues (e.g. Accounts Payable, vendor master data)
• Create component-based forecasts for key commodities
• Coordinate product-line cost-modelling, ensure on-time delivery and variance analysis
• Lead ad-hoc procurement projects with focus on efficiency
• Drive digitalisation and AI-based process improvements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Science or Economics
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong analytical, data-mining and presentation skills; advanced MS Excel; additional data tools advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and passion for sharing knowledge
• Quick learner, adaptable and confident under time pressure
• Results- and quality-oriented mindset
