Service Specialist for Marine Applications

As a member of our marine service team you will commission automation systems on national and international vessels on time and within budget. You will use cutting-edge technologies, support customers on site, by phone and remotely, and document all activities seamlessly.

• Commissioning and functional testing of switchboards, transformers, generators, motor controls and power-distribution systems
• Preparation of detailed commissioning plans incl. procedures, schedules and check-lists
• Fault diagnosis and rectification on board as well as ensuring compliance with relevant standards (VDE, CE)
• Quality inspections and compilation of complete commissioning reports with test results and performance data

• Completed electrical training or degree in automation/drive technology; several years of comparable professional experience also possible
• Solid knowledge of occupational safety, QM and regulatory requirements (VDE, CE)
• Business-fluent German and English
• High willingness to travel (national/international) and physical fitness for work at sea and in confined, pressurised spaces
