Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist (Quality) to play a vital role in our journey towards excellence at Northvolt Skelleftea. This position is part of our dynamic Quality team and reports to the Quality Systems Manager. As a Technical Training Specialist Quality, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement comprehensive training programs to ensure compliance through trainings with automotive and international standards and the adoption of standardized business practices.

About the Job

As a Technical Training Specialist Quality at Northvolt Skelleftea, your role is pivotal in training, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and implementing standardized business practices. You'll be responsible for identifying skill gaps, providing effective training, and fostering a culture of consistent and best-practice work methodologies. Your goal is to cultivate well-trained individuals, not only in quality but also across various functions, promoting a standard way of conducting business.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver quality training programs, covering the three pillars of Quality at Ett: Technology Quality, Production Quality and Compliance Quality.
  • Create customized training materials tailored to specific quality domains, aligning with organizational standards.
  • Establish practical formal and informal best in class way of working
  • Assess training effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collect feedback to enhance and customize training programs.
  • Ensure employees meet certification and compliance requirements.
  • Define and enrol a comprehensive Quality onboarding program for all three pillars of Quality.
  • Provide advanced quality training in areas like statistical process control, root cause analysis, and risk management.
  • Utilize technology and e-learning platforms, including microlearning, to enhance training accessibility.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive certification program for quality function and beyond.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address specific training needs.
  • Manage and continuously update the skill matrix to ensure alignment with quality training and development.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • Educational Background: A relevant academic degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Quality Management Experience: Extensive experience in quality management, particularly within manufacturing or similar industries.
  • Standards Knowledge: Strong knowledge of quality processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Problem-Solving Proficiency: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to resolving quality issues.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication (Walks the talk) and interpersonal skills to convey quality standards and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis to identify trends, track key quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Compliance: Experience in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations, including developing and implementing quality management systems.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
